What has happened?
The wider adoption of smarter working practices, bringing about a workplace revolution, will not happen overnight: it will be a gradual and considered process. The Work Wise UK initiative, which was launched in May 2006, is a dedicated  programme which is encouraging this change through a number of national and regional initiatives:

 

Work Wise Week 2009
Tuesday May 12 - Monday May 18, 2009

Work Wise Week 2009 ran from Tuesday May 12 through to Monday May 18 - again, an unconventional week to demonstrate flexible working. The week consisted of a number of themed days, with media opportunities and events for each.
