Beat Despondency:
The despondency generated by commuting as much as 47 working days per year is significant. Add to that the winter impact of having to travel in the dark and many people become depressed, hankering for the first signs of spring and the glorious summer. This excessive amount of time spent commuting is a key factor in people's work-life balance, and a major contributor to stress levels, health and general well-being. Being able to reduce the amount of time travelling would certainly mitigate this, allowing people to spend more time with their family, leisure activities as well as just relaxing and enjoying life.
