Synopsis:
The Challenge: Remote access opportunities for MoD site users had not seen much take-up and proof that a smarter working solution could have a positive effect on employees' productivity and working styles was required.
The Solution: To establish the facts of how DFN IPT people were currently working, BT Workstyle - specialists in Flexible Working arrangements - were brought in to measure and capture the current workstyles and establish a baseline of
information to measure changes once the technology was rolled out.
The Results: For those taking part the results were exceptional:
- 81% said their new way of working had a positive impact on their motivation
- 84% said their had been an improvement in their family life
- 84% said the new workstyle had improved their work-life balance
- 65% said it had improved their perception of the MoD as an employer
