Synopsis:

The Challenge: How can you work from home in Devon and deliver a maritime emergency response centre 24 hours a day, 365 days a year?

The Solution: Win a contract with BP to cover their global fleet of ships. Use Broadband and a sophisticated virtual IP network to link home based workers throughout Devon. 

The Results: A resilient response centre, manned by a widely-dispersed team of remote workers, which cannot be affected by a single incident, such as a major power cut in the call centre.

TeleBIZZ started in a spare bedroom in 1992. The company is now providing services for 150 firms all over the UK and overseas, and plans to have 100 teleworkers in due course.
