I'm a serial entrepreneur currently into my 4th Business.  Experience includes Heavy Engineering and Business Link/TEC but the 20 years as an owner manager have been in IT and small business consultancy and training. The companies I set up have employed between 2 and 25 people.

In 1996 I was taken on to build the Executive Studio in West London. This was a state of the art facility for demonstrating  how IT can be used to support company growth. This organisation pioneered the use of flexible and remote working. I have been personally using a laptop and working remotely using the usual methods of connectivity since 1997.

I currently run a 4 man internet trading and consultancy business and have spent the last 2 years practising what I've found out. I create training programmes, carry out research and deliver consultancy in marketing, IT and leading IT related change -. Much of this work has been consolidated into training materials and programmes aimed at helping small companies run their businesses more effectively. I produced a lot of Broadband related materials for the DTI's Ukonline for Business Programme. Clients include HP, PCWorld, OneLondon, Virgin Atlantic, SBS, Govt of Wales and numerous small businesses. I am a Chartered Marketer, Technology Means Business accredited adviser and an associate of the Market Research Society. I frequently give talks on broadband, internet and marketing related topics to audiences ranging from novice business people to battle hardened marketers.
I am Chair of the South East Regional Board of the CIM and am qualified to advise on both Marketing and IT related topics. I'm married with 2 children and personal interests include windsurfing, playing guitar and piano and applying science to business.
