Richard has worked in IT for over 25 years as a Systems Analyst & Consultant.   He has a Management Sciences Degree, is teacher-trained and is a management adviser / assessor.

As a Local Enterprise Agency Director, Richard has a particular interest in small business and enterprise.   He has started and developed several small businesses and delivered the technology solutions.

Richard can advise on virtual, mobile and home-working with the benefit of personal experience.   He operates extensively from a home-office in the Peak District - connected to company servers in Central Manchester .

In some organisations issues of management and culture are often as significant as the technologies.   Change Management often requires support and training.

Much of Richard's current work is with Manchester City Council and Manchester Digital Development Agency, developing Digital and e-business capacity.
