John is a Human Resource professional with over 10 years experience in programme and project management.
He has applied his 'people' expertise to both large and small scale organisational change assignments, facilitating and leading cross functional teams. His breadth of experience spans both public and private sector organisations including; NHS, Local Authorities,  Financial Services, Telecommunications, Business Process Outsourcing.

John's particular interests are in change management and the emergence of a flexible working culture. He feels the strategic challenge for organisations is about how to integrate; changes to work styles, new technology and innovative workspace design in order to develop smart working solutions that can deliver significant benefits for employees, the employer and their customers.

Working with Human Resources, Facilities Management, ICT and Project Management professionals, John has advised and supported organisations on all aspects of flexible working, from; raising awareness about the opportunities, to, getting started, undertaking feasibility studies and pilots.  
Based in North Yorkshire, John now works as an independent consultant and as an Associate with Peoplespace Consulting who specialise in providing smart working solutions.
