Who is behind Work Wise UK?
Work Wise UK is organised by the IT Forum Foundation (ITFF), a not-for-profit organisation that was established in 1983.  ITFF has extensive knowledge and expertise in delivering initiatives that encourage the development of UK businesses working in the information and communication technology sector. Work Wise UK recognises the commitment shown by our strategic and supporting partners in encouraging the United Kingdom to adopt smarter working practices.

 

 

 

 

 

The British Chambers of Commerce comprise a national network of quality-accredited Chambers of Commerce, all uniquely positioned at the heart of every business community in the UK and representing more than 135,000 businesses of all sizes in all sectors of the economy - equivalent to five million jobs.

 

Scope's mission is to drive the change to make our society the first where disabled people achieve full equality. We campaign for disabled people's rights and we provide housing, information and advice, education and all the other kinds of support that enable people with cerebral palsy to live the way they choose.

 

With member unions representing over six and a half million working people, we campaign for a fair deal at work and for social justice at home and abroad.

 

The CBI are the premier lobbying organisation for UK business on national and international issues. We work with the UK government, international legislators and policy-makers to help UK businesses compete effectively.

 

Technology Means Business is the standard for the provision of Business IT Support to Small & Medium enterprises. 
The national network of TMB accredited advisers seeks to ensure UK SME's receive competent and credible business IT support and advice.

 

The RAC Foundation for Motoring is a UK based independent charity established to promote the environmental, economic, mobility and safety issues relating to the use of motor vehicles.
Founded in 1991, the Foundation has established a reputation for conducting original research, including "Cars and the environment: A view to the year 2020", "Car Dependence", "Cars in the Countryside", "Motors and Modems" and "Civilising Cities"(co-funded by DfT). In May 2002 the Foundation produced a major report "Motoring towards 2050" (downloadable at www.racfoundation.org). A follow-up report on parking in transport policy was published in 2004 and one on shopping will be completed by the end of 2006.
The Foundation works closely with other groups such as the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership and Motorists' Forum.

 

'The Association for Commuter Transport is  a non-profit membership association, owned by our members. We are dedicated to the promotion of sustainable transport through travel planning, promoting and disseminating best practice and new initiatives through our newsletters, training, conferences, website, webzines and events. Our membership includes local authorities, government departments, large corporations, universities, hospitals,  NHS and transport consultancies. Through our membership we represent over 2 million employees and we continue to grow.
